So yesterday, the second round of BPL matches of this season came to a conclusion, with my team Arsenal following up from last week's null 0-0 draw against Sunderland with an equally disappointing performance against Stoke at the Britannia Stadium, a game that produced the exact same scoreline. In another feisty match yesterday, Manchester City bounced back twice at Anfield to earn a 2-2 draw with Liverpool.
Currently, Chelsea lead the standings with 3 wins out of 3, with them having played one more game. Second, surprisingly to many, is Swansea City. They have won 2 games out of 2. They, like Arsenal, have kept a clean sheet in the BPL so far, but unlike Arsenal, have no problem firing at the other end.
Hopefully for all Gooners, Arsenal can keep another clean sheet and still nick a goal against Liverpool next week.
In the transfer news, Arsenal are linked with two Newcastle United players, Yohan Cabaye and Cheick Tiote. To get both these players, Arsenal may need to pay up to 40 million pounds, which is the amount of money they collected from the sales of Robin van Persie and Alex Song. In my opinion, I don't think Arsenal need both these midfielders, as they already have plenty of them with the likes of Abou Diaby, Tomas Rosicky, Mikel Arteta, Alex Oxlade Chamberlain, Aaron Ramsey, Santi Cazorla, Emmanuel Frimpong and Jack Wilshere. So what will happen? That's up to Arsene Wenger and Arsenal.

August 18
Hey people!
Now I know I haven't posted for quite a while, because I've been caught up in the summer thrill (you can't blame me).
So, the Olympics recently passed and it was great (except for Dato' Lee Chong Wei failing to get gold)!
Anyway, football fans would know why August 18 is such a special date. Yes, that's right, the 2012/2013 Barclays Premier League kicks off on that day.
Many top flight matches will be played during the weekend. The most prominent ones are :
Wigan vs Chelsea
Everton vs Manchester United
Arsenal vs Sunderland
So be prepared for another season of drama, excitement and passion.
The Premier League is back!

Euro 2012 Final
This Sunday, or in the wee hours of Monday morning, is the final of Euro 2012. Instead of the final I was hoping for, which was Spain versus Germany, the final is a contest between Spain and Italy. Yes, Mario Balotelli scored a brace as the Azzuri defeated the Germans in the semi final. In the other semi final, Spain dramatically beat Portugal in a tense penalty shoot-out. Spain will be expected to play their style of keeping possession of the ball, a style which has been dubbed 'Tikki-Takka'. The Italians will look to defend with their lives and break swiftly on the counter-attack. That tactic looks promising with their two strikers, Antonio Cassano and Balotelli in terrific form. However, I expect Spain to get their third piece of major silverware in a row.

Revision, Exams and Loads of Fun
Hey guys. Now I haven't been posting lately, and the reason to that is illuminated on the title.
You might be wondering, what has kept me so busy. There are these three things:
1) Revision
-I have been revising a lot for school, and it has been pretty hard, probably because there are so many subjects and there are so many things to remember. Anyway, all the revision was building up to...
2) Exams
-I recently had my End of Year Exam Week, and to every student, the week passed really slowly, and when I finally finished my last paper, I was literally jumping with joy. Not only had the exams passed, but...
3) Loads of Fun
-Immediately after Exam Week, I went to Singapore for the annual Horizon's Week with my friends. It was really fun, especially the trip to Universal Studios Singapore. It was awesome.
Anyway, while all that was happening, Euro 2012 was still going on. The teams that were eliminated during the group stage were Poland, Russia, Holland, Denmark, Ireland, Croatia, Sweden and Ukraine. So far, two quarter finals have been played, Portugal edging Czech Republic 1-0 while Germany whipped Greece 4-2. The other two quarter finals are Spain versus France and England versus Italy.
Do you want to know who I think will win the tournament? I predict this will be Germany's year, I've always said it from the start.

Long Time No See
So, it's been a long time since I last posted, so I'll just give a short run-down about football.
Arsenal beat West Brom 3-2 to finish third, while Man City defeated QPR by the same scoreline to clinch the title. Chelsea won the Champions League and relegated 4th place Tottenham to the Europa League. Speaking of relegation, Wolves, Blackburn and Bolton were relegated and Southampton, Reading and West Ham will take their places next season. Robin van Persie won the Golden Boot Award with 30 goals, Rooney came in second with 27. Peter Crouch's stunning goal against Man City was voted Goal of the Season, while Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny's double save against Liverpool was voted Save of the Season. Joe Hart won the Golden Glove Award with 12 clean sheets. Fernando Torres' incredible miss against Man Utd was voted Miss of the Season, and finally, QPR's Joey Barton was voted the Least Sporting Player.

Too many doctors in Malaysia
Hey guys!
You, know, I've always wanted to be a doctor, but recently I heard of an article stressing on the fact that by 2018, there will be too many doctors in Malaysia. This is because Malaysia are producing so many doctors that not all of them may get a good job. By 2018, there would be a glut of doctors in Malaysia.
Recently, the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetist (ANZCA) stopped offering their training program to new trainees in Malaysia after more than 50 years doing so. This is bad news for future doctors as another opportunity goes by.
Now onto sports, the final round of matches of the 2011/12 Barclays Premier League will be played simultaneously on Sunday. All the matches start at 2.00 PM GMT, or 10.00 PM GMT+8. Man City and Man United battle for the title, as both those teams play QPR and Sunderland respectively. In the race for third, Arsenal, Tottenham and Newcastle must win and hope the others slip up. Hopefully for me my Gunners will get the win. They play against West Brom, while Tottenham and Newcastle play Fulham and Everton respectively.
That's all from me now. See ya!

Arsenal were amazingly held to a 3-3 draw against Norwich last night. Hopefully Newcastle and Spurs lose tonight.
